Established in 2007, it originated from Africa Malaria Day, highlighting the disproportionate impact on the African continent. Malaria is a mosquito-borne illness caused by parasites. Symptoms include fever, chills, headaches, muscle aches, fatigue, and nausea. Early diagnosis and treatment are crucial to prevent complications and death. Several safety precautions can help reduce the risk of malaria. Using insect repellent, wearing long sleeves and pants at dusk and dawn, and sleeping under insecticide-treated bed nets are essential.
